Well, this was an interesting experience, and eventually someone on irc channel #freebsd pointed out to me that the wired connection was taking dominance over my wireless connection, so I commented out the eth0 (fxp0) entry in my /etc/rc.conf, it, when it rebooted, it was using only the wireless. :-)

when doing Vegan Baking, and you want to do a vegan substitute for eggs, you use 1 Ripe Banana (LARGE) for each egg in the recipe. I tried this before using small bananas and it came out of the oven as a brick. But using the large bananas made it come out perfect and wonderfully fluffy. My first attempt at Vegan Oatmeal Cookies were delicious, but a little harder than I would have liked, now that I know to use extra banana, I can't wait to try them again.

when mounting an (external) usb drive in FreeBSD 10.0 the ordinary 'mount' command does not work, instead, try

'mount_msdosfs /dev/da? /mnt/usb/whatever'

where the ? is an integer of your device, usually 0.
If you don't know the node of your device...try

gpart show da0

or

file -s /dev/da*

or you can even plug your device in, then type

dmesg | tail

where | is the 'pipe' symbol, in different places on keyboards but usually on the same key as often under the backspace key.

Well, in previous post I mentioned an Evil Dead TV series, it seems this is a semi-hoax, or at least Bruce Campbell is denying any knowledge of it. As exciting as this seems, I would hope much more for a “Phantasm” tv-series, Evil Dead has pretty much played itself out in terms of plot, and would just wind up being a clone of “Supernatural”, but I think a Phantasm franchise could be a new kind of horror/scifi serial, especially if they keep “The Silver Ball”.

Hey Clint,

It's been kinda hard to communicate directly with you lately, I guess there are a lot of things getting in the way, not sure why. I wanted to explain to you that I don't have a single bad thought about you, or your loved ones. I guess there is some anger over a year-old face-book post, not written by me, where someone I knew said your neighborhood was a "trailer-park", and I did not correct him, sorry for that. Looking back on it, I probably should have corrected his mistake, I didn't mostly because I never thought that kind of a detail would matter. I know you guys have good homes, you own them, and own the land too, that's a pretty awesome achievement in this economy, and is more than I have accomplished right now. 

I do not think in any way, shape, or form, that you guys live in a trailer-park. That would be dumb of me because I lived there too. You're my brother, I love you, I think you are a pretty cool guy, and the people who are special to you are special to me too. 

Please remember that when I think of you guys, that I only wish you happiness and more happiness. The mistake was not something I said, but was something a guy I used to work with said, and don't think it should be held against me, but if there is any confusion, let this statement clear it up:

"Hey Rob, my family does NOT live in s trailer park. It is an Estate, with real homes, and real land owners, with real property."

So Clint, you know me, and you know I don't think like that, this post is my real feelings about the matter, and if anyone else says otherwise, then they are just trying to drive a wedge between us.

2. Master Spanish (Rosetta Stone?)

3. Start Walking Every Day.

4. Switch to being Vegan.

5. Quit Smoking.

6. Get Back to 200 lbs.
