Perplexed and need advice.
I recently decided to try to fill the void in my life that Aikido used to fill by starting Judo. I spent 8 years doing Aikido, and loved it, but stopped when my life went through a lot of changes, and never went back. I totally agree with the philosophy of Aikido, the only problem is, I don’t entirely like the people it attracts. It has a tendency to attract a more elitist sort of person, which I have no doubt it why I was drawn to it in my earlier years, and the elitism was part of what repulsed me from it at the end. I am very drawn to the power and assertiveness that Judo has to offer, and have recently come to believe that those are qualities I have been seriously lacking in my life. My only reservations about Judo are that it attracts a very crude and gruff type of person, and I don’t have 8 years invested in it. If anyone reads this, please weigh in and let me know, I am truly confused and on the fence.
Update for September
normally I am pretty hesitant to post information like this, but I have found someone very nice to keep me company from time to time. Nice not to be lonely anymore. I have started attending a judo school, but not sure I have picked the best one, still looking for a better one.
This is going to be awesome!

Busy Day Tomorrow
Tomorrow I am going to work, then to a farewell party for a co-worker at sushi bar, then going to play go, and then going to Las Vegas Sci-Fi center to see Someone’s Knocking at the Door I just love cheesy horror/Sci-Fi movies, and this one looks like pure Velveeta.
Surprise
A few days ago one of my co-workers was in the office saying some really anti-gay comments, along the lines of how he thought it was appropriate to use baseball bats on gay teenagers. it pissed me off, I complained, talked with people, and blogged about it on facebook. Mostly because I honestly didn't think i had a recourse at work, my workplace isn't exactly "PC". So it was actually a huge surprise to me when one of the owners came to me and said that he would make it right. I have no idea what the results will be, I have a nagging feeling that I've probably numbered my days with the company now. Who knows, not even sure I care anymore. All I know for sure is that I'm tired of putting up with that kind of thing. We'll see what happens.
